Piano Lecture Recital - "Polish Music for Young Pianists"
Saturday 20 July 2019 (10am - 12pm), KAWAI Rectial Studio @ CentrePoint Orchard
Synopsis: This lecture recital will be devoted to Polish piano music written by Polish composers during the 19th and 20th centuries. These include Maria Szymanowska, Feliks Dobrzynski, Anton de Kontski, Karol Szymanowski, Andrzej Dutkiewicz and others. The only composer of Polish origin that will not be discussed in the lecture will be Fryderyk Chopin. In addition to Polish piano composers, we will discuss characteristics of Polish musical style, including Polish national dances and the evolution of Polish music. Several compositions will be performed live to compliment the ideas from the lecture.
Fee: $20.00 (Early Bird by 1 July 2019). Usual $28.00
Piano Lessons
SOLO Lessons - $200.00 per hour
Public Master Class - $80.00 for each performer (30 to 40mins) and $10 for each observer.

A versatile pianist with a broad repertoire, Sławomir Dobrzański frequently performs a soloist and chamber musician in Europe, South America, China, and throughout the United States.
As a soloist, he performed in Poland, Germany, Lithuania, Ukraine, Slovakia, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Macedonia, France, China, Taiwan, South Korea, Mexico, Ecuador, Peru, Paraguay, Argentina, Canada, India, Indonesia, and throughout the United States. He participated in the “Potomac River Piano Festival”, "Mozart Festival" in Poznań, Poland, "Chopin Festival" in Antonin, Poland, "Warsaw Autumn” Contemporary Music Festival, Festival of Polish Pianists in Słupsk, Poland, "Chopin Festival of Hawaii", "Chopin & Friends Festival" in New York City, “Chopiniana” Festival in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Darmstadt Festival of New Music in Darmstadt, Germany, “Music Gettysburg!” Festival in Gettysburg, "El Paso Chopin Music Festival", American Liszt Society National Festival, in Lincoln, Nebraska, Chopin Festival in Miami, FL, "Athena" Festival in Murray, Kentucky, the KWU International Music Festival in Salina, KS, and Karol Szymanowski Festival in Beijing, China.
