Piano Poetry Banner V3

A creative and fun collaboration between two artists and two art forms! Beginning with the much loved prologue from Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, the show explores the themes of romance, ennui, uncertainty, fear, anger, sorrow, regret and remembrance by interspersing solo piano music with readings. Passionate letters between Romantic composer Robert Schumann and his wife, poems by Britain's Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy, adventures stories of a pet dog in Jack London's Call of the Wild will be paired with music. Piano and Poetry Pot Pourri promises to be an evening of discovery for the whole family!
