Course Title: Playwrite Workshop

Trinity College London’s International Playwriting Competition first launched in 2010 with the intention of encouraging new and emerging writers to create one-act plays to be performed and enjoyed by children and teenagers worldwide.

Over the past three years, the competition has seen over 500 entries from 30 countries; 68 actors perform in six shows staged in prestigious London venues, three books of plays published, and two plays performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.


Course Objective:

To help prepare young writers for the Trinity College London's International Playwriting Competition 2013-2014, by participation in fun, useful activities and games that will help to unlock the creative writer in you!

  • Class 1 - Teenager to Adult   news1

  • Playwrite Activities – inspiring creativity and generating ideas for Playwriting. 
  • Work in Groups - to brainstorm ideas and concepts.
  • Showcase - Opportunity to showcase your work within the class.
