Founded in 1932, The London Philharmonic Orchestra is recognised today as one of the finest orchestras on the international stage, and has been the resident orchestra at the Royal Festival Hall since 1992. The Orchestra has broadcast regularly on television and radio, and recorded soundtracks for blockbuster films including The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
The orchestra’s chamber group currently have ongoing series of concerts at the Wigmore Hall and Cambridge University. This partnership will bring six world class performers to Thailand and Singapore to work with Trinity College London to deliver an exciting and valuable programme of activities for teachers, students and local organisations. As part of the event in Singapore, the soloists will be presenting the following programme:
